Privacy Policy — Make Time

Ben Reyes (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Make Time mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect
- Account information. Your name, email address, and password when you create an account.
- Family information you choose to share. Your household type, your children’s names and ages, and any interests or support needs you tell us about, so we can suggest activities that fit your family. All of this is optional, and you can skip it or change it later in Settings.
- A general area you tell us. A city or zip code you type in, used to show a local weather forecast and, for Make Time Plus, real venues near you. Make Time does not access your device’s precise GPS location.
- Plans, packing lists, and activity history. The activities you plan or log, and the packing lists you check off, so your plans are there the next time you open the App.
- Saved ideas. Activities you bookmark to come back to later.
- Usage and device information. Basic technical data (such as app version, device type, and crash diagnostics) to keep the App working and secure.
Make Time does not access your camera or photos, and does not collect your phone number. Make Time is designed for parents to use; it is not directed to children.
How we use your information
- To create and secure your account.
- To personalize activity suggestions to your family’s ages, interests, and needs.
- To show a local weather forecast and, for Make Time Plus subscribers, real nearby venues for your saved area.
- To save your plans, packing lists, and saved ideas across sessions.
- To operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the App.
- To detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the App:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf: our backend host, which stores your account and plan data; Google, whose Places service we use to find real venues near your saved area for Make Time Plus (Google receives only your saved area and search radius, not your name or account details); and Open-Meteo, a weather data provider that receives your saved area’s approximate coordinates to return a forecast, with no account tied to that request.
- Legal reasons — if required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the App.
We do not sell your personal information.
A note on Make Time Plus
Make Time may offer an optional paid subscription. When available, purchases are processed by Apple and by RevenueCat, our subscription management provider, and this policy will be updated with the details before that feature becomes available.
Bags (packing item sets)
Bags you build in the App are stored only on your device, not on our servers. They do not sync between devices, and since we never receive them, they are not part of any data we hold or delete on your behalf.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Your choices
- You can update or remove your family and children’s information anytime in Settings.
- Account deletion — email us at benreyes@sunnyridgelabs.com to request deletion of your account and associated data.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date above.
